After what has felt like a lifetime counting down to this trip, the mammoth journey to Sydney Australia begins tomorrow. I will be forced to spend 24 hours in the confines of economy class on an air plane but it will be worth it for the incredible two months ahead!
Can’t wait to be back there, just one month to go!
The image above shows the only day I spent in the north of new south wales, Australia. I’m going to be in Sydney for two months mid June to mid August. Seeing as it will be winter there and the weather won’t be the best, I’m hoping to head north for a few days searching for warmer weather. We’ll be driving so don’t really want to go more than 6 hours or so. Anyone have any advise for great places to go? Coastal or Inland, places to go hiking would be great, lakes, waterfalls ect. Thanks for any tips 😀
I briefly visited the Blue Mountains during my travels around Australia in 2012 but can’t wait to explore them further during my trip in four months time! An incredible place to go hiking, canyoning and sightseeing. Just a few hours from Sydney, a great place for a day trip if you can’t stay longer.
