The stunning garden at Musee Rodin, Paris

If you’re looking for something to do in Paris, musee Rodin is a great place to go. It is very reasonably priced, with the museum and the garden just 9 Euro or just the garden for 2. The Gardens are beautifully set out with a range of Rodin’s statues situated throughout. There is also a little cafe where you can have lunch or get an ice cream to walk around with.

Champs Elysees and by the Seine, Paris

Another beautiful day exploring the streets of Paris.

Rooftop cafe, Printemps, Paris

If you’re looking for a light lunch or just a free panoramic view of the city, the rooftop cafe at Printemps is the place to go. It is a beautiful spot where you can clearly see all the famous landmarks including the Tour Eiffel, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame and Arche de Triomphe.

Scotney Castle, Kent, England

Bodiam Castle, East Sussex, England

The most incredible castle I have visited!

Great Dixter House and Gardens, East Sussex, England

This has been just one of the many times I have visited Great Dixter and is still somewhere I would like to go back. The gardens are beautifully set out in a huge variety of styles that are different every time you visit. The best time of year to go would definitely be June, July or August but it is also lovely in spring.

The beautiful Mossman Gorge, Queensland, Australia. Ten seconds after I took this shot I turned around only to slip on a rock and my camera went flying into the water. Luckily I managed to fish it out and save the memory card but the camera did not survive. Nevertheless can’t wait to be back in Oz this summer just two months to go!!!!

As we began to move down the coast the weather got progressively worse, so we bypassed many places we had hoped to stop unfortunately in a bit of a rush to get back to Sydney. Further down the east coast we met some friends who recommended a visit to Rainbow Beach. We loved it so much instead of staying one night we stayed for three, but wished it could have been longer.
